Starting with January 19, 2021, Doctor Roxana Stroe returns to the position of President of the National Agency for Medicine and Medical Devices in Romania (ANMDMR). Dr. Roxana Stroe is a primary care pharmacist and has been working at ANMDMR for 11 years. She led Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Department and since 2014 she is a full member of the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), being actively involved with the Agency team and the Ministry of Health too in the actions organized on the occasion of Romania’s mandate of the Council of the European Union.

The agency’s experts are an active part of EMA’s most important working groups and contribute to the implementation of the European crisis management strategy caused by SARS COV-2 virus.”
Increasing the expert team, increasing the transparency degree of the activities carried out with professionalism, the contribution of Ministry of Health, CNAS and other relevant institutions to the projects for increasing patient’s access to medicine are some of the immediate objectives of Dr. Roxana Stroe the new President of ANMDMR.
