Strategic Collaboration: Events and Training (ET) Working Group
A Tradition of Educational Excellence
Since its inception in 2018, the Events and Training (ET) Working Group has served as a vital forum for advancing Clinical Research (CR) standards across Europe. As a pillar of the EUCROF Federation, the group is dedicated to providing consistent, high-calibre training and monthly educational webinars for both federation members and the wider global research community.
The Annual Planning Meeting
While the group’s work continues year-round, its members convene annually to refine the strategic direction of these educational programmes. On 4 March, Dr Cristina Florescu Moraid, CEO of Avantyo Institute of Clinical Research, joined her international colleagues in Madrid for these essential deliberations.
The session focused on the thoughtful selection of themes and expert speakers for the year ahead, ensuring that every session contributes to a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the clinical research landscape.
Strategic Objectives
• To ensure the highest impact for the 2026 calendar, the group identified five core pillars:
• Strategic Planning: Setting the long-term vision for high-calibre training and monthly educational webinars.
• Content Curation: Selecting urgent themes to address the most complex clinical research (CR) challenges.
• Expert Engagement: Identifying top-tier speakers to provide specialized insights for the research community.
• Industry Progress: Turning research complexities into actionable knowledge through diverse perspectives.
• Knowledge Exchange: Fostering a "shared language of progress" to advance industry standards across Europe.
A Vision for Progress
"Knowledge only truly lives when it is exchanged. We gather here not to simply manage a schedule, but to decide which truths are most urgent for our community to master, turning the complexities of research into a shared language of progress." — Dr Cristina Florescu Moraid, CEO, Avantyo Institute of Clinical Research
