IMPACT Conference
Medical Innovation for Access and Collaboration in Treatment
Building on the growing commitment to patient‑centred clinical research in Romania, the IMPACT Conference brings together the key voices shaping the future of medical innovation. Hosted by the Avantyo Institute of Clinical Research in partnership with the ELION Association for the Promotion of Clinical Studies, this gathering creates a dedicated space for open dialogue, shared experience, and meaningful collaboration.
The conference places the patient at the heart of the conversation. It offers a platform where their experiences are heard, valued, and integrated into the wider research landscape — recognising the essential role patients play in advancing clinical development.
IMPACT brings together patients and patient organisations, investigator physicians, regulatory representatives, pharmaceutical companies, and CROs to explore the themes that matter most: access, transparency, trust, and progress. For many individuals, a clinical study represents more than a treatment option — it represents hope, time, and the reassurance of not facing illness alone. This event acknowledges that reality and seeks to strengthen the partnerships that support it.
We are honoured to welcome a community that believes in advancing research with empathy, responsibility, and respect — ensuring that patients are not only participants, but true partners in the development of tomorrow’s therapies.
The conference will be moderated by Andreea Marin, whose longstanding advocacy for compassion and responsibility reflects the values at the core of IMPACT.
